Hamilton Community Robotics is a not-for-profit organization that offers Hamilton youth the opportunity to enrich themselves through competitive robotics programs, specifically VEX. Participants develop their teamwork, problem solving and critical thinking skills, whilst further reinforcing, and building on, their classroom STEM skills.

The primary objectives of this program is to enable high school students in the Hamilton community to participate in competitive robotics and learn crucial life skills, such as problem solving and critical thinking. Some other objectives we hope to achieve through this program include:

  • Inspire youth in low-income communities
  • Raise interest in STEM-related fields
  • Create stronger bonds between companies and the community

The overall final goal of this program is to create a strong, long-lasting robotics community that all Hamilton youth can benefit from.

We are currently based out of The Forge @ McMaster Innovation Park.
